The description "small neighborhood tavern" is exactly that. And this gives it a sweet charm of another era. A neat, clean space in a quiet location near the center of Paleo Faliro. A tavern with the aroma of Cretan cuisine since Vangelis, the owner and chef, is from Chania. We read about the restaurant and decided to try it. The food is good and delicious. The beef steak is impeccable, the burger made from fresh beef is very good, the carbonara is delicious, as are the apaki and the kebab. The salads are fresh and not standardized. The portion sizes are good. The wine cellar of the Pneumatikakis winery (excellent). The impression from our first visit was very pleasant. The prices are moderate to high. The only negative, as in all of Paleo Faliro, I believe, is the parking.
Excellent food and great staff
Now I know why there is such a rating and not another, the place is wonderful 😍🤩

Delicious food, good prices, polite staff.
I had the Cretan rice, giant baked beans, bread, and a beer. Everything was fantastic.
We went for lunch a few times, there is local cuisine but also drinks, pasta, kebab and fries, vegetarian options. Everything was very tasty cooked, the staff is trying hard for the guests

We stoped by to had lunch here on sunday evening. We ordered fried octopus and veal steak. Octopus looked like appetizer not a main meal, portion was ridiculously small. 2-3 small pieces and not cooked well. Also they added some salad. Veal tasted like nothing. Was lack of salt and flavour. There was selection of sides and I selected pasta which was plain spaghetti with some cheese. Complimentary ice cream after a meal was only thing that gave this tavern two stars. Service was nice tough, waiter were pleasant but the food was not nearly as good.
